Thank you to all who came out to rake, leap and stomp in the Great Leaf Pile of 2009. The pile created a lovely temporary habitat for kids of all ages, and is currently breaking down into available nutrients for the Geraldo Tree (our crooked white spruce/winter tree), the native shadbush, golden rod, milkweed, wild bergamont and overall soil ecology of McCarren Meadow.
