The North Brooklyn Compost Project is a volunteer-run compost pile in McCarren Park, Brooklyn. We were founded in 2004, and have helped hundreds of members reduce waste and improve soil. Our compost fuels backyards, container gardens, street trees, park land and food gardens. What can your garbage do?
Hey Guys! I absolutely love what you’re doing. The world needs more projects like yours. So you compost everything in a community park? Once you make the compost, do you sell it or give it away to all of your 400 members? Looking forward to learning more. Keep up the wonderful work.
